Small Groups

Social Justice Small Group

with Evan Soken Thursday at 9pm in the 1st floor lounge of GDD.

This small group looks at God's heart for--and Christians' role in--social justice, specifically human trafficking. We will be looking at what the Bible says about justice and oppression as well as look historically/currently at how we can fight against human trafficking in our city and nation. The social justice focus will alternate weeks with a community-building focus.

Multicultural/Multiethnic Small Group -

with Siya Ndwandwe and Anna-Kay Brown Thursdays at 7:30pm bi-weekly in the Cultural House.

MCF recognizing Christ gives no preference to any style of worship or culture above any other. This small group seeks to integrate and acknowledge the worship style of other cultures so we can learn from each other and be comfortable. People of all backgrounds are welcome.

 Brunch with Tough Questions

with Hannah Warmen every Saturday at 11:15am at 1517 Grand Ave, Apt. 3.

This small group will look at some of the questions and truths that are hard to deal with or reconcile with our idea of a good God and attempt to explore them in a safe environment. We realize that weeknights can be challenging scheduling-wise so this Saturday-morning alternative will hopefully work for those of you who are already full-up

Gospel and Pizza

With Hannah Trostle, is a
small group dedicated to seeking to understand the gospels through dialogue about our faith traditions and through fellowship with one another.

This is in the Spanish House (196 Vernon St.) Room 206                          Fridays from 6-7pm
